Who We Are
“Effutu Diaspora Advocate Group is a non-profit of Effutu sons and daughters living abroad, committed to the progress of the Effutu Traditional Area.”
We were born in 2019 on a video call between five cousins — one in New Jersey, one in London, one in Hamburg, and two in Winneba — who were tired of watching our hometown struggle from a distance.
Today we are 1,240 members across six chapters, governed by a written constitution, audited annually, and recognised by the Effutu Traditional Council and the Winneba Municipal Assembly.
We do not replace government. We supplement it, we advocate for it, and we hold it accountable — with data, with respect, and with the moral weight of a people who will not forget where they come from.
Advocate for education, health, jobs and cultural preservation in Winneba and the wider Effutu Traditional Area — funded transparently by our global children.
“A prosperous Effutu land driven by its global children.”
